Have e mailed you previously about my own growing up in "Farewell Bend". <br /><br />Yeah, I remember the old jail and it dungeon like appearance as we walked down the alley on the way to a movie at the Center Theater (also a mostly forgotten bastion of FB).<br /><br />There is a lot of the old town left both as to the social fabric and appearance. But the dynamics of a freeway, a sales tax in Idaho, and the influx of a generation of people who no nothing about the town of 50 years ago is slowly turning the city into something totally different than the movie like small town of our youth. <br /><br />Thanks again for the memories.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
